Clare Jarrett


Clare Jarrett trained at the Royal College of Art, London and went on to teach there.  She won the prestigious Mother Goose Award with her first book, CATHERINE AND THE LION, in 1996. Since then, she has written and illustrated a number of picture books, as well as designing cards and wrapping paper.

In Spring 2008 Walker Books published her new picture book ARABELLA MILLER'S TINY CATERPILLAR, described by
Kate Kellaway in The Times as 'outstanding'.

Clare Jarrett now lives in Norwich, Norfolk with her husband and their three children.
