Abe is fed up. Stuck in a grim English boarding school, he daydreams of escaping home to Egypt and finding his long-lost father, but none of his schemes seem to work. Then one day, he comes across a photograph of the 1942 school football team.

But what looks like a plan photograph is in fact a spell with the real team trapped inside. Abe sets them free, only to find is responsible for a group of old men who act as if they are still 13 years old. To add to his troubles, his cruel head-mistress Mrs Dunne is enraged that Abe has sabotaged her Magic and is out to catch them.....
